Day and Night Signal
	The Day & Night Signal is a very compact personal survival signal incorporating a red flare at one end for night time use, and a dense orange smoke at the other for daytime use. The flare end is ribbed to aid identification at night, and both ends are fully waterproof with 'O' ring seals. Either end can be fired independently and the signal can be doused in water after firing, allowing the unused end to be stowed until required. Originally designed as a personal distress signal for naval divers, helicopter pilots and air crew, the Pains Wessex® Day & Night Signal is also ideal for divers, windsurfers, dinghy sailors and small boats operating inshore as well as outdoor pursuits such as mountaineering. The signal is waterproof to a depth of 30 metres.
